Eaton Names He Qinhong as President, Asia Pacific

Eaton Corporation, a diversified industrial product manufacturer, announced the appointment of Curt Hutchins as president of the Asia Pacific region. James W. McGill, former president of Eaton’s Asia Pacific region, was named executive vice president of corporate human resources.

He directly reports to Craig Arnold, Eaton’s deputy chairman and chief operating officer of Industrial Group, and is based in Shanghai. Previously he served as president of Eaton’s heavy-duty transmission business.

He Qinhong joined Eaton in 2003 as general manager of the heavy-duty transmission department. In 2004, he was appointed vice president and general manager of the clutch division. In 2007, he became president of the heavy-duty transmission business.

Prior to joining Eaton, He Qinhong was the vice president of operations at Waterpik Technologies. He also worked for Parker Hannifin and Textron. He received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technical University in Michigan and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
