From Scott Peterson:
Just came across this while driving through Hebron, Illinois. It was purchased from a fireman in Skokie by Doug Reno. The engine will be on display at the Illinois Railway Museum this weekend and the following two weekends. It's intended to fill a steam engine called The Leviathan. The piping on the driver's side was custom-built for a quick-fill system when the rig is in Union to refill the steam engine. The rig is in excellent condition and is equipped with WLF, model 80-1129.
This is a rare find! The engine has been well-maintained and seems to have a lot of history behind it. It’s always exciting to see vintage fire apparatus being preserved and showcased. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking it out at the museum. It's a great example of old-school firefighting equipment and a fascinating piece of local history.
