[ China Agricultural Machinery Industry News ] On March 3, 2017, President Wang Bo of China Agricultural Machinery Institute was invited to visit the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on behalf of the China Agricultural Machinery Institute, and the Director General Li Yong on the possibility of agricultural machinery and agricultural products processing. The field strengthened cooperation and talks were held.


President Wang Bo briefed Director Li Yong and UNIDO officials on the development history, business sector and comprehensive advantages based on scientific research strength of the China Agricultural Machinery Institute. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation in agricultural technology and equipment and agricultural engineering. In particular, discussions and exchanges on relevant project cooperation under the UNIDO-led Country Partnership (PCP) framework were conducted.
Subsequently, UNIDO convened the relevant leaders of the Asian, African and Latin American regions and the members of the China Agricultural Machinery Institute delegation to hold a project docking seminar to conduct a detailed study on the professional advantages of the two sides and the cooperation of key national projects.

President Wang Bo’s visit to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization on behalf of the China Agricultural Machinery Institute has deepened mutual trust and understanding, and laid a good foundation for the comprehensive cooperation between the China Agricultural Machinery Institute and UNIDO and its partner countries. The international organization platform within the system promotes the products of China Agricultural Machinery Institute and builds an international comprehensive platform for agricultural machinery equipment, agricultural engineering contracting, park planning and design and construction of China Agricultural Machinery Institute.
Song Haihao, deputy general manager of the company, and Xu Dan, business manager, accompanied President Wang Bo to attend the meeting. They also visited the Minister Counsellor Yao Shenhong, the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
