Gravity Separation 6-S Shaking Table
Also known as a table concentrator, this is a gravity-based device used for the separation of fine minerals. It is highly effective in processing precious and base metals, rare metals, and non-metallic minerals. The 6-S Shaking Table is widely applied in the separation of Gold, Silver, Tin, Columbium, Tantalum, Titanium, Barium, Tungsten, Iron, Chrome, Manganese, Zircon, Lead, Zinc, Mercury, Copper, Aluminum, and more.
The operation involves feeding raw materials into a launder, mixing them with water to form a slurry with a concentration of 20% to 25%, and allowing it to flow onto the deck. As the slurry moves across the deck, the particles become loose and layered due to the washing action of water and the shaking of the deck. Once layered, the lighter and heavier particles move in different directions based on the pressure of flowing water and the friction of the bed surface. Lighter particles are carried away by the stronger flow of water toward the tailing side, while heavier minerals move toward the concentrate side. This process results in a fan-shaped distribution of mineral particles along the diagonal of the feed launder. The discharge occurs along the edge of the deck, allowing the machine to produce multiple high-quality products efficiently.
One of the key advantages of the shaking table is its precise separation capability. After the initial separation, it can yield final concentrate, final tailings, and one or two types of middling products. The enrichment ratio of the concentrate is exceptionally high, reaching up to 300 times when processing low-grade tungsten or tin ores. The effective particle size range for metallic ores is between 2 mm and 0.02 mm.

Construction and Mechanical Features:
The head motion of the Gandong Shaking Tables is equipped with a fully enclosed self-lubricating system made of heavy cast iron, ensuring efficient splash lubrication. This design protects moving parts and minimizes operating and maintenance costs.
Decks are constructed using a steel framework covered with 16mm fiberglass and emery, providing strength equivalent to 70% of steel. This design ensures durability, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and no distortion, extending the machine’s lifespan and enabling it to perform reliably under various mineral and weather conditions.
Support types include traditional, 10# channel steel support, or 20# channel steel support. A wooden feed distributing box with a hopper and a long water box is attached to the deck frame, ensuring even distribution of feed and water.
