Recently, Michelin recalled a special model of the tire LTX M/S produced between January 2010 and June 2012 in the United States. This tire is commonly used in commercial light trucks, full-size heavy vans, small caravans and some large pickup trucks.
The model and size of the recalled tires are Michelin LTX M/S LT 225/75R16 115/112R LRE, which is mainly used for original tire parts of some new vehicles or some replacement tires for sale. The reason for the recall was that there was a tread loss or risk of air leakage in a few tires, and Michelin reminded consumers to change tires as soon as possible to Michelin-authorized retail locations.
