Professor Wang Chengfang from Wuhan University of Technology introduced that the new complex surface forming equipment is a high-tech product integrating advanced technology, measurement technology, modern information technology and control technology. The product can automatically perform surface modeling and 3D curved ship plate forming processing according to the shipboard processing data provided by the shipbuilding software (purchasing and supply system), and make the 3D curved hull plate cold pressing and automatic forming. The world's technical problems have been basically solved.

Facing the development direction of the world's shipbuilding industry, “large-scale, high-performance, high value-added”, the domestic shipbuilding industry urgently needs the support of digital shipbuilding equipment.
