Balancing flowmeter is a revolutionary differential pressure flowmeter. Its working principle is the same as that of other differential pressure flowmeters. It is based on the principle of energy conversion in sealed pipelines: flow and difference in pipelines in the case of ideal fluids. The square root of the pressure is proportional; using the measured differential pressure value, the flow in the pipe can be calculated from the Bernoulli equation.
Balance the flowmeter installation site to meet the conditions:
1. It should be close to the site where the gas is used, the location should be wide, and the lighting should be good to facilitate the operation and maintenance.
2. The air should be clean, less dust, relatively low temperature, good natural ventilation, avoid places close to dust, poor working environment, installation of pre-air filter should be added to maintain the balance of the normal operation of the flowmeter and Parts life.
3. The ambient temperature of the work should be higher than 0°C in winter and lower than 45°C in summer. Because the higher the ambient temperature is, the less air is discharged by the balance flowmeter. If necessary, ventilation or cooling devices should be provided.
4. The balance flowmeter group should be arranged in a single row, the net distance between the balance flowmeter group should be more than 1.5 meters, and the net distance between the balance flowmeter stage and the wall should be more than 0.8 meters.
Balancing Flowmeters Preparing Balanced Flowmeters:
1. The worm-type balance flowmeter produces little vibration, so it can be used as a basis. However, the ground on which it is placed should be flat, and the ground should be hard soil. The ground should be polished with concrete to avoid vibration due to uneven ground.
2. For the connection of pipelines and easy maintenance, the balance flow meter grade is best placed on a concrete platform with a certain height from the ground, and a groove is provided between the perimeter and the platform so that when the unit is stopped, refueled or overhauled, the oil and water are Can flow away from the groove.
Balance the flow meter to install the compressed air pipeline:
1. The pressure drop of the compressed air pipeline must not exceed 5% of the nominal discharge pressure of the balanced flowmeter. Therefore, the larger diameter of the compressed air pipeline is preferred. The pipeline should be less likely to bend and the valves should be reduced as much as possible.
2. The compressed air main pipeline should have a slope of 10 to 20 degrees to facilitate the removal of condensed water in the pipeline.
3. When several compressor groups share the main compressed air pipeline, a check valve should be provided between each compressor stage and the main pipeline.
4. A check valve shall be provided between the balance flowmeter stage and the gas tank.
5. After balancing the flowmeter group, if there is a gas tank, dryer, etc., the balance flowmeter group should first connect the gas tank and then connect the dryer.
