On November 14, 2016, the “First International Conference on Power Battery Applications” was held in Beijing. More than 200 scientific research institutions and enterprises from the domestic and foreign power battery industry chain gathered at the conference. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission International Cooperation Leaders from the center, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce also attended the conference.

This two-day conference is jointly organized by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association and Battery China Network, and jointly organized by Shuangdeng Group Co., Ltd. and Shanneng (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd.

Combining the current situation, the conference is divided into four major themes: “Construction of Power Battery Industry Chain”, “Global Power Battery and Material Technology Outlook”, “Global Power Battery Smart Manufacturing Trend” and “Power Battery Post Market Layout”. The guests will share and discuss the problems, solutions and development trends in the four aspects, objectively analyze the development of the power battery industry, grasp the development trend of the industry, and promote the development of China's power battery industry better and faster.

At the meeting, Liu Yanlong, secretary-general of China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, made a speech on behalf of the organizer. In his speech, Liu Yanlong summed up the development situation of China's battery, especially the power battery industry, in the past year. He hoped that industry and enterprises could seize the opportunities for development and promote the development of the entire battery industry through technological innovation, transformation and upgrading.

At the theme forum entitled “Construction of the Power Battery Industry Chain under the Market Frenzy”, Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the National Passenger Vehicle Market Information Association, Jiang Aning, Vice President of Changjiang Automobile, and Li Kejun, Deputy General Manager of Lifan Wanguang New Energy Zhang Na, deputy general manager of Power Battery System Co., Ltd. made a report and shared their unique views on power batteries.

Lu Xuelong, an industrial analyst from the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan, also made a keynote speech at the meeting.
