Progress in the Progress of Measuring Instrument Technology Innovation and Industrialization in China

The test equipment industry in China is slower than the international trend in terms of technological innovation and industrialization. The situation is very grim. Now that we have entered the 21st century, the general level of China's test equipment has remained at the international level in the early 1980s; large-scale and high-end equipment and equipment are almost all dependent on imports; many urgently needed special instruments are still blank; the quality of middle- and low-grade products is guaranteed. There are still many difficulties to overcome. The slow development of technological innovation and its industrialization is a "bottleneck" restricting the development of China's test instrument industry.

The main factors constraining the slow progress of technological innovation and industrialization in China's test instrument industry are:

First, there is a serious shortage of funding for scientific research. The development funds used by internationally renowned test instrument companies for scientific and technological innovation generally exceed 10% of annual sales, while the test equipment companies in China not only have low sales, but the development funds used for scientific and technological innovation generally do not exceed 3% of the annual sales amount. In contrast, the company’s investment in scientific research funding is pitifully low.

Second, the shortage of talent and the large amount of loss have become serious obstacles to the scientific and technological innovation and industrialization of the test instrument industry, especially for state-owned enterprises.

Third, the lack of an effective combination of government, production, education, research, gold, and use. In the past, only the combination of production, education and research was promoted. There were few successful examples. There was no involvement of the official and financial communities and users (the financial sector referred to here could also be corporate or private capital). In the current situation of China's test instrument companies It is extremely difficult to successfully achieve industrialization.
