Its suction port is located at the water inlet and aligned horizontally, while the discharge port is vertically oriented. This design allows for flexible head adjustments based on specific requirements. The assembly of the pump significantly affects its performance, especially the alignment of the guide vanes, which can impact efficiency and flow if not properly maintained. The main components of the D series multi-stage centrifugal pump include the inlet section, middle section, outlet section, impeller, guide vane baffle, water outlet guide wing, shaft, sealing ring, balance ring, shaft sleeve, tail cover, and bearing housing. These parts are typically made from cast iron to form the working chamber of the pump. The impeller, also made of cast iron, compresses the liquid along the axis of rotation. Due to the unbalanced pressure, axial forces are generated, which are managed by the balance disc. Each impeller undergoes static balancing tests to ensure smooth operation. The shaft is constructed from high-quality carbon steel and is fixed with keys, shaft sleeves, and nuts. One end of the shaft connects directly to the motor via a coupling component. Sealing rings prevent high-pressure leakage and are replaceable as wear parts. The balance ring and balance disc, both made of wear-resistant cast iron, help manage axial forces between the outlet section and tail cover. The shaft sleeve protects the shaft and fixes the impeller in place. The bearings used are single-row radial ball bearings, providing reliable support. Packing seals are employed to prevent air ingress and excessive leakage. The packing is placed in a water-filled chamber, and the tightness must be carefully adjusted. If too tight, it can cause overheating; if too loose, it reduces pump efficiency. The D series pump features an advanced hydraulic model, high efficiency, and a wide range of performance capabilities. It operates smoothly with low noise levels and offers either soft packing or mechanical seal options for reliable sealing. The fully sealed shaft design ensures no contact with the medium, enhancing durability. It is suitable for various industries including municipal water supply and drainage, high-rise building pressurization, irrigation, fire boosting, long-distance water transfer, heating systems, and boiler applications. Technical parameters include a flow rate of 6.3-500 m³/h, lift up to 650 meters, power ranging from 2.2-400 kW, speed between 1450-2950 rpm, and a temperature limit of up to 105°C.
