The main components of the D series include the inlet section, middle section, outlet section, impeller, guide vane baffle, water outlet guide wing, shaft, sealing ring, balance ring, shaft sleeve, tail cover, and bearing body. These parts are typically made of cast iron to form a robust working chamber. The impeller, also made of cast iron, compresses the liquid along the axis and generates axial force, which is balanced by the balance disc. The shaft is constructed from high-quality carbon steel and is secured with a key, shaft sleeve, and nut. One end connects directly to the motor via a coupling component. The sealing ring prevents leakage and is replaceable when worn. The balance disc, made of wear-resistant cast iron, helps manage axial forces between the water outlet section and the tail cover. The shaft sleeve protects the pump shaft and is placed in the packing chamber. The bearings used are single-row radial ball bearings, ensuring smooth operation. Packing seals are employed to prevent air intake and excessive leakage. The packing chamber is filled with water, and the packing gland, ring, and filler work together to maintain a proper seal. It's important to adjust the tightness of the packing correctly; too tight can cause overheating, while too loose can reduce efficiency.
