Beihai Refinery Off-site Renovation of Petrochemical (200,000 Tons/year Polypropylene) Project Since the commencement of construction, various projects have been rapidly progressing. Project construction is at its peak
Sinopec's total investment in the first phase of the Beihai Petrochemical Project Group reached 15 billion yuan, of which the total investment in the Beihai Refinery Offshore Renovation Petrochemical (200,000 tons/year polypropylene) project was 6.638 billion yuan. At present, the construction of the project has entered a peak period and is actively promoting the industrial water project, 110KV Santang to the petrochemical transformation line, the formal access road, the petrochemical railway line, and the relocation of the sanitary protection distance. After the project is completed and put into production, it can realize an annual operating income of more than 300 billion yuan and an annual average profit and tax of approximately 7 billion yuan. In the second phase, approximately 15 billion million tons of large-scale oil refineries will be added, and an additional 18.8 billion yuan will be used to build Guangxi LNG projects. The total investment for Phase I and Phase II projects can reach 48.8 billion yuan, and the annual output value will exceed 100 billion yuan.
At present, the preparation work for Beihai Petrochemical Project has been fully carried out. Production personnel will return to the North Sea site after more than one year of training. The production preparation outline and all technical data have been completed. Start-up materials, fuels, three-buy procurement, product delivery and other programs have also been determined.
The initial result of agglomeration effect of the petrochemical industry
At present, the North Sea has introduced a number of petrochemical supporting industrial chain projects, such as the annual processing of 200,000 tons of catalytic oil slurry projects. For LNG supporting industry projects, Beihai is actively planning to make full use of the large amount of cold energy generated by the project, to provide adequate cold energy for the coastal and frozen industries in the Beihai and even Guangxi, and to promote sustainable development. In addition, Beihai will build liquid chemical terminals around fine petrochemicals, plastics processing, cogeneration, bio-chemicals, and chemical equipment manufacturing.
The industrial agglomeration effect of Beihai Petrochemical has appeared initially. It will become a petrochemical integrated high-energy and chemical industrial base with advanced world level and international competitiveness, and will become a petrochemical strategic highland and cooperation platform for the leap-forward development of related industries in the leading and tie-up regions. The industrial hub of the Pan-Beibu Gulf Petrochemical Industry Development Zone serves as a bridgehead for the Southwest, Pan-Pearl River Delta and ASEAN.
