1. Product Description
The wet high-intensity magnetic separator is designed for processing strong magnetic minerals with particle sizes less than 3mm, such as magnetite, calcined ore, and ilmenite. It is also widely used in the coal, non-ferrous metal, and building materials industries for iron removal operations. Our factory offers separators with different magnetic force grades, including downstream, semi-counter current, and counter current configurations. The equipment features a simple structure, large capacity, and easy operation and maintenance.
2. Working Principle
When raw materials enter the tank of the magnetic separator, they flow in the same direction as the rotation of the magnetic drum. Iron-rich minerals are attracted to the surface of the drum during the first separation. In the second step, water from below flushes the materials back, creating a reverse flow relative to the drum's rotation. As the drum rotates, the iron-rich materials on its surface eventually leave the magnetic field and fall into the concentrate box due to gravity. Water from above helps to further flush the material into the concentrate box. Weakly magnetic or non-magnetic materials are not attracted and are discharged as tailings.
