On July 6th, Kansai Paint Co., Ltd. invested 11 million U.S. dollars. Chongqing heavy anti-corrosion paint production and sales base started construction at Changshou. This is the first wholly-owned Japanese Kansai Corporation established in China.
It is reported that the base is expected to be completed and put into operation on October 31. Related products will be available in early November. After the first phase of production, the annual output of anti-corrosion coatings will reach 12,000 tons, and the output value will reach 290 million yuan. In the early stage of Chongqing production base, production of heavy anti-corrosion paints will be the main focus. After that, construction coatings will be produced. The related products are mainly for sale in the Asian market, which is mainly in China.
