Cummins, the world's largest independent engine manufacturer, has taken a substantial step in the development of tin bases. On October 12, 2010, the small generator production project of Cummins Power Generation (China) Co., Ltd. was groundbreaking in the new area and Gong Peixing, chairman of the Wuxi CPPCC, attended the ceremony.
Cummins Generator Technology (China) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned company invested by the top 500 companies in the United States in the new district of Wuxi, and is the top 20 largest taxpayer in Wuxi New District. Based on the trend of 25 to 30% annual growth in China's business in recent years, Cummins plans to establish an industrial park in the Wuxi New District to achieve base development. The small-scale generator project laid on October 12 was the first project in the planned Cummins Industrial Park. According to reports, Cummins plans to increase its registered capital by 11.93 million U.S. dollars and invest in small-scale generator production projects.
The one million volt super high voltage transformer project was completed and put into operation on October 12 in Nisshin (Wuxi) Electromechanical Co., Ltd. Chairman Gong Xixing of Wuxi Municipal CPPCC attended the ceremony.
According to reports, the R&D million-volt voltage transformer independently developed by Nisshin is an important part in the construction of China's smart grid. The successful R&D and production of this product fills the gap of the voltage grade products at home and abroad, enabling operators to pass electromagnetics. Sensing technology accurately obtains the voltage value of the UHV grid.
