The most important reason why capital, especially private capital, is keen on methanol fuel is its considerable economic benefits. High-matched methanol fuel prices sell for more than 3,000 yuan per ton, while the current domestic wholesale prices for gasoline and diesel are generally between 5,000 and 6,000 yuan per ton.
