This is from Eric Haak:
A fire broke out around 8:15 a.m. on Sunday morning at a 25x50, one-and-a-half story brick home located on the 900 block of North Harding in Chicago’s 13th Battalion. Engine 95 was the first unit on scene and immediately reported that the house was fully involved upon arrival. Firefighters noted an enclosed wood-frame porch at the rear of the structure, which appeared to be the point of origin. The home had been vacant for some time and had experienced multiple break-ins, raising concerns about its condition. The fire eventually spread to a neighboring home to the north, causing damage to the frame dormer of a similar one-and-a-half story residence. Fire crews on the scene included Engines 95 and 76, Trucks 35 and 26, with Truck 36 serving as RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) under the 12th Battalion. The situation remained under control, and no injuries were reported.
