The firefighters were working tirelessly in freezing conditions to bring the blaze under control. From what I could see, the structure was severely affected by the flames, and the efforts to save it were both heroic and challenging. The smoke filled the air, and the water from the hoses froze almost instantly, creating an additional layer of difficulty for the crews on site. It’s always humbling to see how quickly things can turn dangerous when fire strikes, especially during the winter months.
I stayed back to ensure I wasn’t in anyone's way and to let the professionals do their job.
