Gas vortex flowmeter troubleshooting

The gas vortex flowmeter is a new type of flowmeter for measuring the fluid flow of a closed pipe according to the Karmen vortex principle. Because of its good media adaptability, it can directly measure the volumetric flow rate of steam, air, gas, water, and liquid without temperature and pressure compensation. With temperature and pressure sensors, it can measure standard volume flow and mass flow, which is throttling. Ideal alternative to flowmeters.
Failure analysis and exclusion are as follows:
1. When the gas vortex flowmeter has no signal output or the instantaneous flow rate is not displayed, the analysis and troubleshooting are as follows:
1) First check that the power supply voltage is correct.
2) If the power supply voltage is correct, turn the sensitivity potentiometer and amplification potentiometer counterclockwise.
3) If there is signal output, check whether the pipeline flow exceeds the measurable flow range of vortex street.
4) If the flow rate is within the measurable range, it indicates that the sensitivity of the vortex sensor flow sensor head is already low, and the sensitivity needs to be readjusted.
2. When the gas vortex flowmeter has no flow in the pipeline when there is a signal output or instantaneous flow display failure analysis and exclusion methods are as follows:
1) First check and confirm that there is no fluid flow or disturbance in the pipe and the pipe vibration intensity is too large.
2) Adjust the sensitivity potentiometer clockwise until no signal is output or the instantaneous flow returns to zero. When adjusting the potentiometer, it should be as slow as possible. When adjusting the angle of 5 degrees, it should be paused for more than 10 seconds to observe whether the output is zeroing out.
3. When the signal output of the electromagnetic flow sensor is unstable or the instantaneous flow rate is unstable, the fault analysis and troubleshooting are as follows:
1) First check whether the pipeline flow exceeds the measurable flow range of the vortex street.
2) If the flow rate is in the measurable range, check whether the straight pipe section meets the requirements before and after. If it is not qualified, the straight pipe section must be modified.
3) Confirm whether the process flow is a steady flow.
4) Check if the pipe vibration intensity is too large. If it is too large, it needs to install damping section.
