House fire in Spring Grove, 7-17-16

Lightning from the storm on Sunday morning struck a house on Rudolph Court in Spring Grove. Fire crews arrived quickly and were able to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread further. The incident was classified as a "full still," meaning no injuries or significant damage occurred. Since the area doesn’t have fire hydrants, water tenders were brought in from neighboring departments, including McHenry Township FPD and Fox Lake FD, to support the local Spring Grove Fire Department.
