According to the residents of the community, around 6:30 pm every night, the tables and chairs of the barbecue stalls will occupy the sidewalks along the side of the road. These barbecues generally last until 2 or 3 in the morning. Late at night, diners shouted loudly and residents could not sleep.

“Several residential houses without licenses harass people and often operate until early morning. They occupy roads and run out of gas, seriously affecting the health of nearby residents.” One resident of the community complained on the Internet.

It is understood that these three barbecues, a rental of "Barre dumpling shop" facade; a facade, is just a waste removal station just closed; another, there is simply no facade.

Charcoal grilled but changed but still noisy

Residents have a strong response to the issue of barbecue disturbances. They have repeatedly called the relevant authorities to request resolution. In August this year, coordinated by the Wuhan Urban Management Bureau, these grills were changed from charcoal grills to electric grills, and they promised that they could not go out of business.

After the “Changsha Electric Power” rectification, these barbecue stalls moved from the rear of the street to its front. Despite the signing of the promise, the operation of the barbecue outlets has become the norm and the promises have been ignored.

According to residents of the community, barbecues continue to be heard until 2 or 3 in the morning, and diners are noisier at night even worse than before. In order to prevent the quarrel, residents had to renovate the street windows and install double-glazed soundproofing.

Multiple departments push each other's responsibility

It is puzzling that the Jinxiu Jiangnan Community belongs to the Wuchang District of Wuhan City, but several residential houses that make barbecues belong to Dongting Village, Liyuan Street, Hongshan District, Wuhan, which is a baffling “enclave”.

According to residents of the community, they have repeatedly called the Wuhan Mayor Hotline 12345, the Wuhan Urban Management Hotline 12319, the Wuhan City Government Accountability Office, and Wuchang District Urban Management, Hongshan District Urban Management, Hongshan District Liyuan Street Urban Management Section and other departments. The Wuhan Mayor Hotline 12345 and the Wuhan Urban Management Hotline 12319 have all replied that they are just a wiring platform that reflects the problem. Residents' problems have been recorded and will be referred to relevant departments for resolution.

Earlier, the Wuchang District Urban Management Bureau responded to reporters that as the location of the barbecue belongs to Hongshan District, it is inconvenient to enforce the law, and the municipal management of the city is also under the jurisdiction of Hongshan, and Wuchang City Administration cooperates. When the Hongshan District Urban Management Bureau replied to the reporter, it also stated that the municipal urban management clearly ruled under the jurisdiction of Wuchang, and that Hongshan Urban Management cooperated with the work. Moreover, the location of the barbecue is Liyuan Street in Hongshan District, which belongs to the jurisdiction of Liyuan Street.
