Mannheimer launches next-generation air purifier for heavy vehicles

Mann Hummel, a development partner and supplier of products for the international automotive and construction machinery industry, recently announced the launch of the ENTARON® range of air purifiers. This series of products is developed for construction machinery, agricultural machinery and mobile compressors, and is a “perfect solution” for performance parameters. This is reflected in the installation space, separation efficiency, service life, flexibility, maintainability, economy, etc. . The rated flow of this series of products ranges from 2 to 60 cubic meters per minute. Products with flow rates of 10, 21, and 28 cubic meters per minute are now available, and other flow products will also be available.

The ENTARON® range of filters combines the performance characteristics of the two air purifier series, the Mannheimer Europiclon® and the NLG, with further refinements to supplement or partially replace the two series. In addition, the product is rugged and suitable for applications requiring high filter dust holding capacity and shock resistance.

Rugged construction for heavy vehicles

ENTARON® has a sturdy housing and filter element, which means that the filter is very reliable when used in heavy vehicles. The outer shell is made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic, and the clean air ports and threaded inserts are also reinforced. The patented ENTARON® main filter features maximum dust holding capacity, long service life and extremely high shock resistance. Therefore, the main filter element is equipped with a reinforced plastic center tube and spiral glue line. The glue line fixes the pleat end of the filter element at a predetermined position to prevent the pleats from sticking together, so that the pleat gap on the entire main filter element maintains a high uniform dust holding capacity. At the same time, spiral glue can prevent improper operation. Since the secondary filter element is screwed on the housing, it can be firmly fixed on it.

Suitable for narrow installation space and high power density, flexible and economical

The pre-separation efficiency of ENTARON® exceeds 85%, while the comparable products on the market generally reach only 74%. This allows ENTARON® to be designed more compact than other similarly rated flow filters. This compact design mainly includes a mounting base integrated on the housing and a locking system at the top of the housing. The ENTARON® housing consists of three parts: the outer package, the port and the protective layer. This design concept allows great flexibility in a limited installation space. The integrated mount can meet almost every installation requirement of the port location. MANHUMMEL also offers a variety of filter media, including standard media, flame-retardant media, and higher separation efficiency media, which customers can choose.

Easy to use and maintain

Starting from the filter with a flow rate of 14 cubic meters per minute, the name “XD” has been added to the ENTARON® series of air purifiers, and the letters X and D in the EXTRA DUTY have been taken to indicate “extra load”. meaning. The difference between ENTARON® and ENTARON® XD is mainly reflected in the maintenance concept and rated flow. ENTARON® has a nominal flow range of 1.3 to 10 cubic meters per minute, and ENTARON® XD has 14 to 60 cubic meters per minute. Both series of filters are very easy to maintain and are performed at the end of the air purifier, but the protective layers are different. ENTARON® uses a plastic locking device that opens and closes easily. For ENTARON® XD, thanks to the large load, metal fasteners and color coded operating elements are used, making it easy to understand and use. Fasteners can be fastened with snap-in nose clips so that the protective layer is not moved by handling.
