Health restrictions have limited workforce availability, while the aging infrastructure at these ports has proven woefully inadequate. Today’s massive cargo ships are significantly larger than those from just a decade ago, and the ports simply aren't equipped to manage them efficiently. These challenges are causing widespread delays in the delivery of goods across the country. If unresolved, this issue could ripple through global supply chains.
