House fire in Spring Grove, 7-17-16

Lightning from Sunday morning’s storm struck a house on Rudolph Court in Spring Grove. Fire crews were quickly on the scene and managed to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread further. The incident was classified as a "full still," meaning no one was injured and the fire was fully under control. Since the area doesn’t have fire hydrants, multiple fire tenders were brought in from neighboring departments, including McHenry Township FPD and Fox Lake FD, to supply water for the operation.
