This is a report from Jeff Braun, Jr:
The Lyons Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 8155 W. Ogden Ave. around 6:30 PM on August 4th, 2016. The first unit to arrive (Engine 1312) reported that there was a fire on the second-floor balcony, which had been extinguished before it could spread into the building. The fire was quickly controlled, as Riverside Truck Co. 1629 was stationed on the Bravo side of the building, with Lyons Engine 1312 positioned in front of them. I arrived at the scene during the overhaul phase. Other units present included Lyons Rescue Engine 1316, Engine 1311, and Medic 1314. Riverside Chief 1618 was also on site, along with engines from McCook and Brookfield, though those units were released shortly after arriving. Thanks for the update – Jeff Braun Jr. (COUNTY-WIDE FIRE PHOTOGRAPHY)
