A hole in one: Nationwide Coils helps make MCASF’s 46th annual golf outing a success.

Amidst the chaos of 2020, one thing became abundantly clear—our appreciation for human connection grew stronger than ever. That's why last month's MCASF annual golf outing felt especially meaningful to us. Even though it marked our fifth year as sponsors, the past ten months of isolation and virtual meetings had us itching to reconnect in person, swapping stories and enjoying the camaraderie of our industry peers—not just for business, but also for the mental relief it provided.

Held on December 14, 2020, at the prestigious Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Florida, the event brought together 140 commercial HVAC professionals. Nationwide Coils, as always, proudly held its position as a diamond-level sponsor, the highest tier of support. It was an honor to stand alongside such a dedicated community.

Of course, this year came with unique challenges due to the ongoing pandemic. To keep everyone safe, guests had their temperatures checked upon arrival, hand sanitizers were placed strategically throughout the venue, and social distancing was strictly observed. These measures ensured a secure environment while still fostering the spirit of connection.

The MCASF team went above and beyond when planning the event's catering. The "Joes vs. Pros" challenge was split into staggered play and lunch schedules, allowing smaller groups to enjoy meals together without overcrowding. For those who preferred dining al fresco, boxed lunches were also made available. And, as expected, the gift bags were packed with thoughtful items like a premium Nationwide Coils-branded golf towel, raffle prizes, snacks, and golf balls.

Stephen Barzelatto, our Vice President, jumped at the chance to join a foursome on the PRO team. He shared, "It was fantastic to be out there, mingling with old friends and new acquaintances alike.
