In early October, the air compressor unit of the 52,000 Nm³/h air-to-air division at Zhongyuan Dahua Group Co., Ltd. successfully completed its test run. This unit is currently the largest domestically produced air compressor group (H596), developed and manufactured by Shenyang Blower (Group) Co., Ltd. The project marks a significant milestone in China's industrial equipment manufacturing capabilities.
The medium and low-pressure cylinders of this unit stand over 5 meters tall and are more than 10 meters in length. The rotor has a diameter of 1.20 meters, and each cylinder weighs over 50 tons. Due to its massive size, complex design, and high technical requirements, the production and assembly of this unit posed considerable challenges. Despite these difficulties, the unit performed exceptionally well during the entire test run of the Zhonghua Dahua Coal Chemical Project, operating smoothly and reliably.
This successful test run not only demonstrated the advanced technical level of the domestic air compressor industry but also laid a solid foundation for the upcoming full-scale operation of the 52,000 Nm³/h air separation unit. It is a proud achievement that reflects the growing strength and innovation of Chinese engineering in large-scale industrial equipment.
